Our Story

Redpine was founded in Bangkok in 2019 by a group of financial professionals who recognized a meaningful gap in how financial education was being delivered. The founders had spent years working in investment advisory, personal finance planning, and financial literacy initiatives across Thailand. They saw firsthand how many people were receiving either overly simplistic advice or extremely complex strategies that didn't fit their actual circumstances.

The name Redpine comes from the tree that grows at high elevations, adapting to challenging terrain while maintaining steady growth. This resonated with the founders' belief that financial knowledge should help people navigate whatever terrain they find themselves in, whether they're just starting their financial journey or seeking comprehensive planning at a more advanced stage.

Since our establishment, we've worked with over 800 individuals across Bangkok and throughout Thailand, offering programs that respect where people are starting from and what they're hoping to achieve. Our approach emphasizes understanding the Thai financial landscape — from tax-advantaged savings vehicles like SSF and RMF funds to local investment opportunities and banking tools — while maintaining relevance to international financial principles.

We've deliberately kept our organization modest in size. This allows us to maintain program quality, adapt content based on participant feedback, and ensure that everyone who engages with us receives thoughtful attention. Financial education, in our view, isn't about scale; it's about helping each person develop the knowledge and confidence they need for their specific situation.

Our Mission

To provide accessible financial education that empowers individuals to make informed decisions about their financial lives, grounded in Thailand's unique context and delivered with patience, clarity, and respect for each person's starting point.

Our Values

Practical Orientation

Financial concepts should connect to real-world applications. We emphasize understanding that can be put into practice in Thailand's financial context.

Balanced Perspective

Financial decisions involve tradeoffs. We help you understand various approaches and their implications rather than prescribing a single path.

Respectful Teaching

Everyone brings different experiences and knowledge levels. We create learning environments where questions are welcomed and pace is appropriate.

Ongoing Learning

Independence

Redpine is an independent education provider. We do not receive commissions for recommending specific financial products and maintain clear boundaries between education and product sales.

Language Accessibility

Programs are delivered in clear English with Thai financial terminology explained thoroughly. We ensure concepts are accessible regardless of participants' financial vocabulary background.

Understanding Financial Education

Financial education in Thailand requires understanding both universal financial principles and the specific tools, regulations, and opportunities available within the Thai financial system. At Redpine, we bridge this connection by grounding all instruction in local context while maintaining relevance to broader financial concepts.

Our programs address personal financial management across income planning, expense tracking, debt assessment, savings strategies, and investment fundamentals. For Thai residents, this includes understanding tax-advantaged savings options through SSF and RMF funds, navigating PromptPay and digital banking tools, evaluating government bonds and SET-listed equities, and planning for retirement through both public and private mechanisms.

Investment education at Redpine emphasizes informed decision-making rather than prediction. We teach participants how to assess different asset classes, understand risk characteristics, evaluate fees and costs, diversify portfolios appropriately, and maintain perspective during market fluctuations. The Thai equity market, mutual fund landscape, and fixed income opportunities all receive detailed attention within our programs.

Comprehensive financial strategy — the focus of our Summit View program — brings together these elements into an integrated plan. This involves multi-asset portfolio construction, tax efficiency across different investment vehicles, property considerations within overall wealth, insurance and protection layering, retirement income planning, and family succession considerations. Each element connects to Thailand's regulatory framework and available financial infrastructure.

What sets Redpine apart is our commitment to pacing that respects individual learning needs. Financial concepts build on one another, and rushing through foundational material creates gaps that undermine later understanding. We've designed our programs with appropriate depth at each level, allowing participants to develop genuine comprehension rather than superficial familiarity.

We recognize that financial circumstances vary widely among participants. Some are beginning their careers with modest savings, others are mid-career with complex situations, and some are approaching retirement with substantial assets. Our programs acknowledge this diversity by focusing on principles and frameworks that apply across different situations, while allowing space for individual questions and concerns.
